I bought a 2 year old snowmobile off them. I was hesitant buying a used product from a rental shop, but they assured me that the machine was well maintained and invited me to speak to their mechanic and review maintenance records. I did and he convinced me it was a good machine. Sure enough, I bought it and have been happily snowmobiling for a couple of years now with no problems whatsoever.

I bought a Yamaha Kodiak 450 from these folks in 2007. They were the best price around and stand behind their product. It's a busy place and the salesman seemed to have a million things going on at once.. calls from customers, people picking up product they just bought, etc... must of just hit it on a busy day. Overall, I was happy with my purchase. The negotiated somewhat on price and threw in a few things. They actually prepped the bike while I was waiting and had it ready for me same day. I was pretty happy about that.

Sears - Fairview Mall

A couple of years ago, I bought a new washer and dryer from Sears in Kitchener. The washer was one of those side loaders that use less water. I really didn't like it since it took forever to get my loads done. I was sitting at my in-laws about one year later and mentioned how I wish I didn't buy that model. My brother-in-law told me to call them and let them know that I wasn't happy and would like a different model. Sure enough and to my shock, they gave me full credit for the set and allowed me to pick a new set. I was blown away by their service... I couldn't believe it. I'm a life time customer now.

Hobden's Small Engines

I've purchased a few items off these folks over the years. I bought a Stihl chainsaw and a Toro Snowblower. I found them to have the best deals at the time I was shopping and they service their products. Nothing worse than buying these types of items at the big box stores then being told you have to contact the manufacturer for service. Hobden's takes care of you and that's why I keep going back.

A1 Car Cleaning - Davenport

I have been taking my vehicles here for 10 years now. They do a good job and the vehicle is always spotless when I get it back. They are quick and usually need the vehicle for half a day if you are getting everything done (wash, wax, shampoo).

Krown Rust Control - Waterloo

I've taken 2 vehicles to this location since 1997. Krown Rust Control still seems to be the most recommended rust proofing out there so I keep going. I have great luck with both my vehicles and it seems to work quite well. The team in Waterloo are very friendly and take care of you.

Wheelz One Stop Auto Centre

I had them repair a leaky tire which they did very quickly. About 2 weeks later, the same tire was leaking again. Of course, I thought if was the plug they put in. I dropped by their shop and mentioned how they had just put a plug in... so they checked it. Sure enough, it was another screw in the tire. They quickly repaired it and didn't charge me anything. I was happy with that!

Apple Auto Glass

I was looking for some glue to reseat one of my power windows. He was going to give me some, but I decided to have them fix it while I was there. They took me in right away and had it all done within 30 minutes. Overall, I was pleased with their quick service, but more importantly willing to give me some glue to fix it myself.

Just recently down sized, to a retiremnet community...Used the services of the company to organize my belongings. Frances came in and organised my things into need to have, and items that are not needed we put a side. Had a very successful garage sale and sold most of things off, the extra money was useful. She was kind and very knowlegeable, helped me let go of the things I had for years. The price charged was reasonable, she worked very hard to help me get through this stage in my life.

William Green Roofing Ltd

Had my roof shingles done by them...they use good quality materials but made a mess of my garage and fron't door and eve traughs they never protected them, and because the days were windy as they removed old shingles they would blow back onto my (1) month old garage steel door.They had some weather issues a 1 day job turned out to be 1 week. They had put tarps on the house and with the wind we have a couple of sleepless nights. They didn't do a very good job cutting the edges so its quite sloppy. We settled up with them replace all of the problem parts....only becuase I had money to give them we negotiated that in the end. They were not the lowest quote and I got three of them.

I have been shopping with these guys for years. Most recently, I bought a sofa set and dining room set from them. Their prices have always been very competitive and the quality of the furniture they sell is second to none. In both cases, their delivery was within a few days on stock items.

Fast Plumbing and Heating

Used them many times at work to take care of our aging plumbing problems. When you have a public bathroom problem, you need someone who gets their quickly and finishes up quickly. They always kept their schedules and did a good job with repairs at a reasonable price.

Had them pave my driveway in 2004. They ripped out the old and set the new. Did a good job. It's been 4 years now and still holding up. Seems to be a few cracks in it, but that's probably because I haven't sealed it. Overall, I'm pretty happy with their work.

I bought a new stove and fridge from them over a couple of years. In both cases, they were willing to discount a little and delivered same day. When I bought the stove, he was the only one working therefore didn't have a delivery man. He dropped it off on the way home after the store closed same day. He also took away the old stove. Great service.

I was looking for some #8 wire which was difficult to find. I visited all the major distributors in town and they didn't have any. Gerrie had some #6 left over from a job that they were willing to sell for a big discount. I took it and paid $50 for wire that would typically cost 3 times that.

Bought a cannon video camera for my father's birthday. They were very helpful in assisting to select a model that met my needs. They didn't have the typical high pressure techniques as some of the big box and they were very helpful and competitive.

Bad Boy

Bought a dresser off them. As I was filling out the sales agreement, the salesman mentioned that there might be some assembly. That stopped me in my tracks and I made him check first to ensure there wasn't. I didn't appreciate him waiting until I had decided to buy the dresser before buying it. They also don't mention to you that they leave all the packaging on your premises and it's your responsibility. It was on the contract, but they didn't mention it to me ahead of time. The dresser is fine and the price was right, but I didn't have the most pleasant experience with them.
